A photograph this time. Yup, this is my working space even though most of the time there are only my laptop and pen tablet on the desk. Oh. And the watercolor piece only looks okay because I took the picture from afar. And it looks nothing like the reference. Seriously, what am I going to do with myself? -___-'

(And of course it matters and it is terrible, this is an assignement due for thursday. )

La boite rouge oui, mais je travaille rarement avec une technique unique, j'ai fait un mélange avec de la gouache et des aquarelles en godet et en tube :)
par contre je ne montrerai pas l'image non. Elle est présentable que de loin. Merci quand même :)

Mais il y connait rien ! :p (hum hum ...) Au moins de loin c'est sympa , c'est que tu dois avoir une bonne harmonie au niveau des teintes , une ambiance qui s'en degage !

To me it looks pretty cool, though I prefer sharper pictures than how much mist is in the reference. But it's not like I'm the one giving the assignment. The workspace is rather cool, and it also looks like your new home has some great little bits of decorative work. Those marble posts and mantle/windowsill are pretty neat.

If you're looking for water coloring advice (or for any non-digital media) I highly recommend that you send *TwilightFlopple a note and ask her for some advice. She does lots of watercolor and multimedia, plus she's very sharp and has had some great ideas and conversations about art. I don't know that she's on dA every day but hopefully she could respond well before Thursday.

The last time I water colored was... wow, about twenty-five years ago. I tried to emulate Beatrix Potter's style as a gift for a friend after she found out she was pregnant. I was sub-amateur back then but maybe she kept it anyway. Maybe I should find out. :)
